Flying Start

The excitement in the Olympic Stadium at the AOG (Alternate Olympic Games) for the opening ceremony was palpable not just for the spectators but for the athletes too after years of hard work they felt they had finally made it!

Off to a flying start with Team Osprey taking to the skies circling in formation giving a fabulous display to the oohs and aahs of the crowd. What the world didn't know, as it has been hushed up so as not to distract from the opening proceedings, is that osprey 28 - so called only because he had won 28 medals previously - had sneaked under the radar for a quiet fish breakfast, having had no scruples at all about rudely interrupting  the TT's (Team Trout's) early morning training swim!!  AGAIN!!! You can clearly see his wide eyed startled look of panic in the link when he realised he'd been caught on camera! There will be fireworks when this is made public!! There will be sanctions and penalties to pay. Not public spirited behaviour at all.

I was hoping to have time to reply  to everyone who has been kind enough to pop into my arena here at the AOG but my room at the the pub which was near the ospreys, was not getting wi-fi despite the fact they assured me it did and I had to do last night's blip from the bar till they closed and threw me out! I would like to say thank you to everyone at this point!!
