The other side of the bay

We stayed a night in Nelson at the Tahunanui Motor Camp and this morning we went as far as you can go by car and then took this photo looking at the snowy mountains on the other side. Not quite in the direction of Motueka. The beach had several dogs and their owners all striding it out.
They needed to keep moving as a heavy frost and a chilly breeze came up.
We tiki toured round the waterfront before coming home as all the people we thought we might visit were out touring as well.
We had a very nice dinner last night and pleasant company. All eight of the bridal party from 50 years ago were there although the bridegroom nearly didn't make it. He had been in for an acute gall bladder operation and had a heart attack so was only just out of hospital after two weeks. Will be fine but wasn't the life of the party that he usually is.

We didn't bother with wifi so am only catching up with your comments and entries for yesterday. Thankyou for stars and hearts for the snowy mountain. Catch you soon.
