Wide-Angle Wednesday/Wild Wednesday - Stone(s)

Bobsblips has given us "Stone(s)" as the theme for Widwed this week.

Our 24-year-old geriatric goldfish has featured twice before on blip: here and here. We gave him the new name of "Lazarus" over 10 years ago as we thought he'd died, then he came to life again. He died "again" on Sunday and didn't rise from the dead this time; we were disappointed as we were hoping that he may have gone on to beat the world record which may stand at 38 years or more (see here), or maybe even 47 years (see here), but it wasn't to be.

As he's been part of the family for so long we decided to give him a decent burial at the back of the garden, somewhere near our previous pets, i.e. 2 guinea pigs, 2 hamsters and a few other goldfish who died young.

So this is his headstone, along with a jumble of other stones (with which I'm supposed to be designing something pretty and decorative somewhere in the garden at some stage). So it seems to fit the Widwed challenge.

As this bit of the garden is pretty wild (as you can see) I've tagged it for Wild Wednesday as well.

Many thanks to Bobsblips and to Cailleach for hosting these challenges.
