Ribbit

I was refilling one of the garden water features when this Common Frog jumped up out of the lilies. It is the only species of frog that lives in Britain.

It is often thought that frogs live in water. In fact they like damp places and feed on land invertebrates, moving to ponds and ditches to breed in spring.

Frogs have damp smooth skin whilst toads have warty skin.

I struggled to decide which pic to blip but as I can't get the extra photos button to work I've had to choose. Grr!
