Alice's World

Hello Blipfriends!
Another beautiful day in Sweden!

Today was a mostly low-key relaxing day as we are all tired. And after all, we are on holiday!!  BUT - Alice and her mum took us on a really nice walkie - one of Alice's favourites. During the first part of the walk we went past some fields and meadows and ended up at a pretty lake with a walkway right through the middle. Alice wanted to show me her favourite bench where she and her mum sometimes eat a picnic while looking out on the beautiful lake view. We didn't have a picnic today as it was chilly and super windy. There was a geocache right behind me but it was a couple of metres out in the water!  That's not fair!  We didn't have a boat!  Alice said we'll have to come back in the winter when the lake is frozen and then we can walk out there. Hmm. Not sure there's much chance of that!

We also took a selfie of the 4 of us. You will have to look at Alice's blip journal to see that one!

After the lake we walked through the forest where we saw some old wild boar diggings!  I'm glad we didn't see any actual boars. They sound a bit scary!  Alice showed off her rock climbing skills and climbed  up on one higher even than our mums are tall. Is this possibly an Olympic sport?  If so, I'm sure Alice would get the gold!!

We ended up at the dog training club where Alice does her agility training. The course is set up so Alice showed us a few of the jumps, the tunnels, the A-frame, the see-saw, the tyre and the slalom. She was amazing to watch and we got a few videos.  I was allowed to try out the collapsed tunnel and I went through it the first time!  Yay!  That was fun!

When we got home Alice's mum made us the most amazing homemade Swedish waffles.  Mum!  Can we get a waffle machine?  The rest of the day involved snoozing, reading time, a real nap, dinner, and homemade ice cream for both humans and poodles.  Mum!  Can we get an ice-cream machine?

It was a perfect day!!
