Hiking out

We were out hiking this afternoon with the dogs around Papercourt, the local sailing pond when we saw this pair hiking out in their own way. Well it's not Weymouth and it's not Ben Ainslie. But most of those Olympic sailors started their careers on a pond like this.

Checked our 100m tickets again - they're still there, still got my name on them. Now working out the transport, sandwich and lens strategy.

A pity Usain Bolt hasn't got a pair of these.

Family debates tonight on Olympics: Rob (son) wonders if he could beat Michael Phelps if Rob is wearing flippers (doubt it). What is Greg Rutherford doing with his right hand? And George wonders if he could throw the shot put longer than Jessica Ennis. Meanwhile I've updated my Olympic blubbing blog with top 10 blubs (for now).
