Spud

It was a beautiful morning.  TT went out for a run, and I went for a short walk along the coast.  I would have gone further, but we all sit down for breakfast together at around 9am, after some of the others have played a round of early morning golf.

We pottered around the house as we had friends visiting late morning before they went for the ferry home.  BB loves their dog Boots and was very excited to meet their new dog Spud.  The three of them ran around the garden tiring each other out. Once they had lef, a few of us headed over Blackwaterfoot way do the King’s Cave walk.  We decided to head to a tea room after our walk – so to make sure we weren’t late, it was quite a brisk walk.  The weather had changed from the beautiful morning – the wind had got up and it was grey (the start of the weekend storm).  Luckily we decided to start our walk from the right end to have the wind at our backs.  Poor BB stumbled and fell at one point and was impaled by thorns – but he was brave!

Once we had finished our walk we headed to Machrie tea room (again) to sample their delicious cake selection (again!), and BB had an enormous hot chocolate (plus a slab of chocolate cake).

We had a quiet evening, watching the Dad’s Army movie.

Here is the lovely Spud.
