... not. A barely advertised concert in the central patio of the holiday centre. When I arrived Ingrid, F and B were already there, so I increased the audience by 33%. A few more people arrived but we were never more than a dozen, excluding the children who were running about.

The repertoire was all the best-known French songs you can think of -- Trenet, Piaf, Aznavour ... not really my thing. She could sing well, but the accompaniment consisted of her partner's bongo drums and a karaoke sound track -- I'm never a fan of these. It would definitely have been rude to leave though! And they did their best; it must be really difficult to maintain a warm atmosphere with such a small audience, but they took advantage of it with lots of chat and interaction.
