Gin

A day out with the Aussie cousins. After a slow start we went to Cramond and looked for a grave that we couldn't find and then braved the chill for a soup 'n sandwich lunch. Summer? Huh! It was busy though, bike and dog heaven. I was quite taken with a couple of adorable miniature labradoodles. And the Coastguard came sceaming down the hill, all lights blazing for people on the island.

We came home via the Manor with a stop at Tesco for supplies. All well there.

Trying to work out what we'd do in the evening was more fraught and after a quick meal (and a discovery Tay doesn't eat fish), we set out for 56 North to meet #3 son. The Gin Garden was a lot warmer and more atmospheric than the pavement so it was a good couple of hours with a couple of drinks and great craic. Getting home was slower as not 1 but 2 buses sailed past full after 11. That's the Festival for you!
