The Royal Scot

Today, my friends Christine and Ben from next door, went up to Edinburgh to meet with friends and take a wee trip on a steam train to Tweedbank Station and back. Now, to get into Waverley from where we stay in Tweedbank (very close to said station) they couldn't risk getting the first train as it did not give them enough time so they had to rely on the good, old-fashioned bus service!

At least when they did get on the train, there seemed to be plenty of carriages, unlike the times when Swannie has gone up and everybody has been packed in like sardines.

They had a great time and Ben even managed to catch a Pokemon in the train! I hope it paid its fare! Swannie took this photo from the footbridge between Langlee and Netherdale as they passed underneath. Lots of love, JJ ,xx..
