Walk up Danby Rigg this morning

... with the heather leading the way.  A beautiful morning to be out and I did the Danby Rigg circular (a couple of miles I think) leaving Ann to have her feet massaged by Pam (there's a name of it which has gone completely out of our heads - the price of age!)  A few stops for photos and a brief chat with a couple of women I met on the way.
Lunch in - it's been such a lovely day that it was really nice just to sit outside; followed by a car ride up to Danby Beacon, the highest point for miles around which has such stunning views on a day like today. Finally we called in at the Moors Centre, which usually like to see the exhibition but found the textile show a bit uninspiring, though I particularly liked some felt pictures that had been put together by one of the exhibitors.  Stunning colours and abstract compositions.
We are being taken to a local theatre production this evening, so I'd better make a start at getting ready.
