Its Tiny Tuesday again, and so it is definitely time for another Cricket blip, particularly as I haven't done one for ooh, weeks now.  Somehow Bruce's lyrics seemed appropriate even though his jungle is very much urban in nature.

This is another of this year's crop of Jimminy Crickets, or in other words one of the male speckled bush crickets that seem to like our garden so much.  It is looking nearly fully adult now, with the brown stripe developing well on its back.

It is also good large if you are comfortable with large insects (not everyone is).
