Church in the Sea

Another blue sky day, all day long and very warm too. A change from the lighthouses today but still a sea-bound landmark. St Cwyfan's Church sits at the far end of a little bay, reached by a causeway and raised up above the highest of tides. We had to travel down a very narrow lane to get to it, hoping all the way down and back not to meet anyone else. There were quite a few people on the beach eventually, including someone who was making loud declarations about seeing a submarine or a whale duck... He'd have done better to have kept quiet and appreciated the peace.

We had a picnic on the bench overlooking the bay having taken lots of shots there and back - Bailey taking his chance to cool his belly by having a wallow in a rock pool.

Back to Beaumaris and a bit of a look in the gallery of a favourite artist but no significant purchase, yet.

And lighthouse number three is planned for tomorrow.

Extra added: Bailey cooling his belly in a rock pool.
