Number Three

We travelled up to the north of the island to South Stack lighthouse which is certainly the most impressively situated lighthouse of the three that we have seen this week. We didn't head down the 400 steps to get onto the island itself but instead made good use of our telephoto lenses from all points on the cliffs and the coastal path up above. Bailey kept going, picking his way over rocks and really helping on the ups although he did have to be handed over for some of the too-close-to-the-edge shots He had clearly benefitted from his first full night's sleep (his crate was in my room last night) and he wasn't the only one. This shot was taken from almost the highest point that we headed to - an observation tower which was clearly more of a pee-ooteriee than a sitooterie.

We headed down to join Mum for our picnic sat in the sun and then back down to the south again. I had a wander around the shops in Beaumaris before tea with the plan to make a couple of purchases before we head home on Friday. Another blue sky day fully appreciated.

Extra added: Bailey taking a break from his mountain goat impersonation.
