Colour in the rain

I didn't think of photography till this evening, when Helena started to look for her own blip of the day. By then the rain had returned and had my mind on other things. She suggested that the honeysuckle growing on our neighbour's front hedge was looking good, which I concur with. I have been noticing it's red and yellow flowers as they slap me in the face when I walk past.

When I got outside and approached them I also remembered how beautiful this variety smells, especially in the early evening and with the wet atmosphere holding the fragrance in its spell.

I must rush now to see the race of the big men in the 100 metres final.
