Sunshine and Showers

It's been a good day for staying in and watching the Olympics as the promised weather fronts came and went with a vengeance.  Standing high on the hill we have a great viewpoint of the weather when it arrives across the village.

The sporting day began with a great win for Liam Heath in the 200m kayak sprint.  The women's triathlon was enjoyable viewing, such a pity our girls couldn't have secured bronze and silver.  Our hearts went out to our Taekwondo athlete who lost the gold in the final second of his match, but what happened to Tom Daley today?!
