Butterfly Kiss In A Bramble Bush ....

.... but I think the Hollies are both boys. :)

I sat on an upturned bucket in our disused car park waiting for action. I'd seen one holly blue passing through and I always say to myself that if I've seen one of something there must be more.

Sure enough a couple arrived, they spiralled up together and settled on a bramble leaf shivering, I thought, in delight/desire.

Think I was mistaken as I believe they are both males - a needle not a love match.

PS Actually not sure now, the butterfly on the left does seem to have darkish wing edges?
