Lapping It Up

This little hummer is loving the sweet nectar of the red yucca in my yard.  The rain has kept some of the flowers blooming. Soon the stalks will be completely dry and brown just waiting to be snapped off in January.

I've been having trouble seeing for almost a week now.  The lenses in my trifocals were scratched and are being replaced.  Hopefully, I'll have them back by the end of the week and I will once again be able to read (which I can't do at all without them), use my iPhone and watch television without getting a screaming headache.  The good news is that the Crizal coating was still under warranty so it won't cost me a cent.
