St Elijah, Serbian Underground Church, Coober Pedy

Entirely underground, and built by the Serbian community in Coober Pedy, this 'structure' is amazing. You can see the work that has been done on the ceiling to make it carved. What a beautiful space has been created. It was built in honour of St Elijah. Unfortunately most of the community that built it has gone, moved on one way or another, and there are only 20 adherents remaining
