Quiet Moments

I suppose I am always a little envious whenever I visit King John’s Garden in Romsey.
Well, I know that my own place will never look like this, but I always appreciate the care and attention, call it an amazing amount of TLC, which goes into achieving this dream of a garden, slap bang in the centre of Romsey, and only a stone’s throw from the busy town centre.
For a start there is the view to the Abbey and the clock tower, neatly framed by a timber arch, while the gardens themselves are a dream, providing a haven for a quiet moment or two away from the bustle of the town centre.
Then again part of King John’s House and its heritage centre is the quaint Miss Moody’s Pantry, a delightful tea shop with an outdoor courtyard with tables and chairs right at the end of the pathway.

Once visited, you’ll never resist it again!
