Goldfinger

No doubt like many others these Olympic Games have wheedled their way under my previously unimpressed skin over the past few days (was even watching Show Jumping this afternoon forchrissake) and after yesterday's run on medals for Team GB I was shouting at the telly with the best of them.

And they didn't hang around getting this post box painted in Andy Murray's home town of Dunblane this morning after his Gold win yesterday afternoon, to add to the numerous others that have been appearing all over the UK this past week. The paint was still sticky when I arrived (got told off for leaning on it at one point and managed to bring some home with me on my fingers) and there was a constant crowd of happy smiley people queuing up to take photos. The local postie's going to need a bigger sack too going by the number of extra postcards that were getting posted to mark the occasion.

Well done Andy, you've put your town on the world map for all the right reasons; long may it continue.

This shot's actually a combination of four different shots, taken over the course of a minute or so, to show how many people stopped by especially to see it. Go large and you'll be able to count at least 4 sets of virtual twins. Cheers too, to the couple who asked if I wanted my own pic taken beside it; much appreciated chaps, they turned out great.
