It was dad's carer day today so Norm, Moo, Holly, Daisy and I went a walk through Anston Stones Wood. Hadn't been there for years. It was as lovely as I remembered. Such a fascinating place and history. They used the stones quarried from there to rebuild the Houses of Parliament after fire devastated it in the 1800s. Called for a drink at The Beehive afterwards... we just managed to finish our drinks before the rain finally arrived.
