Photographing a Wedding

A 12 hour day, beginning at 11 in the morning which was when I took this shot of Prestwold Hall. It's a wonderful wedding venue. If I had to live in a grand old house, I wouldn't mind living in this one which sits close to the A60 in north Leicestershire.

There is an orangery in which the lilies were giving off a powerful scent. The trees look substantial. The terrace overlooks flower beds and parkland. During our evening break, a rain shower swept across the park obscuring the view with mist for a couple of minutes.

A lovely, if busy, day. I couldn't help joining in the dancing when I was roving photographer in the evening. A wedding guest asked for my camera and took two photos of me! Maybe photos to come?
