Wild and Wide Angle Wednesday : Log Boat

Took Morrigan into Bristol for a wander around the harbour with the wide lens, but this could as easily be Wild Wednesday as Wide Angle... how often do you see dugout canoes being rowed with massive wooden paddles? Go large, you'll see.

So anyhow, this is one of the better known views of Bristol, across the Floating Harbour toward Hotwells, with all the brightly coloured houses rising up the hill to Clifton. 

Late afternoon, and the sinking summer Sun throws shadows across the landscape. Unfortunately, the hour means even on a bike escaping the city is extraordinarily difficult. Poor girl thought she was going to pass out at one point.

So, is it wide angle, or wild? Oh, almost forgot, yesterdays mystery tiny thing... well, you guessed didn't you? It's in the extra. I've even circled it for you. ;-)
