What's your beef?

I like an individual; someone who doesn't just go along with the crowd, but has their own ideas of the way to do things. Someone with their own style and charisma. This chap fitted the bill perfectly. The rest of the herd were at the far end of the field happily grazing away but he was near the gate leaning nonchalantly against the fence, deep in thought. Until I came along, when he gave me a long slow look and then went back to his thoughts.
