Up in the Northlands

A longish drive up North today, but with a welcome stop for lunch at Bettys in Northallerton. I used to work in Northallerton but looking round in case I recognised anybody it was a sobering thought that anyone I did know would be 42 years older now. Never mind; I'm sure I haven't changed in that time so why should they?

Checked into the hotel in Durham and then went out for a stroll along the riverbank for a shot of the cathedral. A busy couple of days coming up so I may be even worse at commenting than normal!
