A quintessentially English scene

Today my brother and I went for a jaunt into north Hampshire, looking at canals and steam engines.

In between, we had lunch at the Mill House, at North Warnborough, a beautifully converted mill with the wheel intact deep down inside the building. Now a lovely pub, with several bars, extensive grounds and a wonderfully old world feeling.

While enjoying our lunch in the warm sunshine I was surprised by two formations of Red Arrows flying overhead - although the camera was on the table I couldn't react in time! Can't win 'em all!
