Quintessential Edinburgh

At least from my limited two day perspective. We have our share of tightly packed buildings in Mexico, but nothing like this view from Carlton Hill looking toward the old city. Densely packed stone buildings, interspersed with more modern structures, form row upon row of interesting patterns. The street is slightly curved which seems to be another characteristic of the older part of town where roads always seem to follow random paths from long ago. Lots to see and do in the coming days.
