Rose bush

For Emma Davies' AYearWithMyCamera prompt today of #whereIstand I was trying out the rosebush from above and then realised that I have not captured these roses yet this year. They're quite small, full of thorns and the bush sits in a difficult place, on the side in a corner near the hedge to our neighbours. I couldn't resist playing a bit with Snapseed and Pixlr. One of the #whereIstand images from above in the extra. The actual colour of the roses is somewhere in between the pink of the two images.

Thanks very much for your comments, stars and a fave for yesterday's snapdragons. Like Leny Cato wrote, in Dutch they're called 'leeuwebekjes' = lions ' mouths, maybe there weren't so many dragons in The Low Countries ;-)
