After the Storm

Back Blip from Akaora ...

It sure was a stormy night with gale force winds reaching 140k.. I thought the house may take off into the sky. Luckily it didn't!

When I first looked out of the window in the morning the lawn was covered in snow. By the time I go my camera the rain came down and it was mostly washed away. It was like that all day with hail and sleet showers constantly.

I managed to get this shot between showers. Most of the time you couldn't see the hills with the snow on them. The road out was covered in snow. If you look at the hills with the snow on in this shot... the road out is on the right where the snow is going down into a valley.
