Wavy stripes

I tried to persuade Normous to cut our lawn like this but he didn't feel inclined! This is how they cut the lawns at the Royal Horticultural Garden at Wisley and it sets off the lovely Lutyens house that is the headquarters of the RHS.
With friends from the WI Camera Group, I visited the garden this afternoon to see and photograph an exhibition of sculptures around the garden. It seemed that there were not as many exhibits this year as on previous occasions but they still made a good display. It was a very hot afternoon and one of our number isn't walking well so we didn't cover a huge area of the garden, and soon repaired to the tea room.
Some of the sculptures appear in my extras, as well as the magnificent display of miniature cyclamen which greet visitors on arrival at the garden.
