Greenfinch

A hectic day round home,followed by a visitor then the evening out with my brother and sister in law.  The result a desperation blip taken from the living room window.

Near the window we have  an Osmanthus delavyi (sorry don't know a common name) which the birds use to either eye up the feeders or sit and eat what they have taken from the feeder.  The tits in particular sit there to open sunflower seeds.

So the shot is a male Greenfinch, one of our jumpier visitors, eyeing up the feeders to make sure everything is OK before visiting the feeders.
