Sailing.

Well actually no they aren't!  In the afternoon after I had my usual visit to Clickychick's open studio event I detoured by the lake looking for a blip.  Apart from it starting to rain it was very pleasant,warm and not a breath of wind.

The fact that there were three yachts in line astern motoring back towards the yacht club reinforced how still it was.  Only this one made any pretence at having a sail hoisted and as you can see it is severely "reefed".  OK to be pedantic I am not sure reefed is technically correct as traditionally reefing was done by tying rows of ropes attached to the sail with I assume reef knots.  This sail is rolled.
