Choosing images

Tonight I was in Bellingham for a meeting of the North Tyne Photography Group. We need to make the final selections for an exhibition of local musicians. Here are Pete, Natalie and David looking at some of Pete's images. Neil is keeping out of range!

I have to make a final selection of 8 of my images to be part of a touring exhibition. It's an exciting prospect.

This morning was a meeting of the Documentary Group of the RPS (Northern branch) in Kibblesworth Community Centre. We have all been photographing country shows and this was the first chance to share our images. It was so interesting to see what other people had produced. It is a fine body of work.

We had a good discussion about how we want to move forwards. Our original tentative plan to have an exhibition has been shelved so that it does not absorb all our time in the coming months. We may go and photograph in a toilet roll factory!

A good photographic day.

I also slipped in a big food shop in Hexham on my way home this afternoon.
