Spirits of the Stones

A fun and easy day doing the tourist thing, mostly, including eating pigs' ears salad - I joke not, though was the only one who actually liked it.

We consider this stone circle to be our own personal one, having stumbled upon it while walking out from the house we stayed in for our first month here.

Why did our forbearers erect these things?
