Water mint

Water mint grows wild in ditches and boggy ground and seems to be out everywhere at the moment.  Pretty, isn't it?  I assume it tastes of mint, but as I'm not a great one for sploshing around in deep mud I'm afraid I can't tell you!

We did get our thunderstorm in the night.  Sheet lightening and the most amazing racket upstairs.  Of course it  teamed with rain too so my watering of pots in the garden last night was completely redundant.
