An ordinary life....

Rolling Home...

Backblip

Although we adore France, one of the stresses of holidaying there is the long two day journey home.  How wonderful it was then to be driving away from our little chalet at Kielder knowing we would be home in time for lunch.

We arrived back to find the driveway filled with 5 vans and a skip.  Not a chance of us squeezing in.  David parked on the pavement and unloaded the car then parked over the road till the vans were gone.

Karen arrived and unpacked and put alway all Alan's stuff while I have Alan lunch.  We had a late lunch of bacon rolls and sat with coffee feeling very thankful that our holiday was so good.  Just a week but it was perfect.

The builders all left at 4.30 so David went out and had a look to see what work had been done in the week we were away.  He came in very excited as the pool room now as a roof.  Three guesses what my blip will be tomorrow :)

Decided that since we are technically still on holiday that cooking was a no no, so we had a takeaway for tea.

I had been very organised and had pre-booked a Tesco delivery for tomorrow morning so completed the order.  All healthy food.  We won't know what's hit us next week!
