An Eaterie amidst the Foliage

It seems that the student quarter of Edinburgh can never have enough coffee shops and eateries. The newest kid on the block is a Mexican restaurant, neither unobtrusive nor understated as befits that country.

I thought their exotic wallpaper, glimpsed through the window, contrasted spectacularly with the iron railings outside and the douce grey stone buildings, reflected in the glass, of the old Infirmary on Lauriston Place, now marked to be renovated for the University Business school.

His Lordship and I are enjoying a day of peace and tranquility, reading the Sunday papers before we pack for our whistle stop anniversary jaunt. All will be revealed tomorrow.
