Over the Top

Yes ok I know I'm putting this up before the 9 o'clock watershed and it's a bit over the top!! Just had to get my fix of insect porn before the cold weather comes in.

Not an easy shot in full sunlight with the reflections bouncing off their shells and black too. 'Ooo!!' I hear you say, 'That's a bit politically incorrect.' but no any colour at all would have been a tad easier to grab the shadows. I liked their chestnut legs and they were going for it long enough for me to hot foot it back to the house, grab my tripod ... and find them again!

I then had to get my insect book out ....do you know how many black beetles there are? Multitudinous!
