Ripe and ready

Lots of ripe blackberries around at the moment. MrM reminded me of some amazingly wonderful blackberry whisky that I made a few years ago - maybe it's time to make some more, if I can find the recipe. Tasted horrid a couple of months after making, but after a year had improved unbelievably!

Blackberry picking soon then - though not these particular blackberries on Wooler Common. They're very near ground and far too vulnerable to the cocked leg of every dog in the area!
