Marsh Harrier

The ever present wadi predator, the Marsh Harrier. A very quick shot, but you can just see that steely gaze downwards, looking for a bird not on the look out for this very camouflaged assassin from the sky. Luckily I didn't witness him being lucky this time, but I have seen him take Stilts to Lapwings and leave just a pile of feathers. Beautiful he may be but he does like to eat my Wadi birds and he's coming around much more frequently! Yes, I know he has to eat!
