Quod oculus meus videt

Had a meeting in Kidderminster this morning and so took the opportunity to pop down to the Severn Valley Railway, which is currently hosting the Flying Scotsman and Tornado engines.

Glorious conditions first thing with mist hanging across the valley.  The extra image was taken while walking to Arley Station along the river bank and is of the Victoria Bridge, spanning the river Severn.

The Scotsman was due at 8:24 am and a small crowd had arrived to watch.  I don't know wether it was by luck or design, but the train was held just out of sight around the bend and so as it passed through the station it was under full steam.  Frustratingly, it came through tender first so a little judicious framing had to be used.
