Seeing Double

No, I agree, they're not twins but there's more than the one photo of this pair today.

"Go into the light", they call, and away he waltzes into Italian loveiness...
"Give yourself over to the dark side", come the urgent instruction, and off I pad into shadow.

Greg and I made a smashing loop (ok, in part a bit of a figure eight, or maybe a six with a comma...) around the river Wye today, putting some new miles onto his lovely new steed, and putting some more on my beautiful fat girl, Morrigan. (Yes, Greg definitely needs a name for his bike!)

Over the old Severn Bridge and up the A466 past Tintern Abbey to Monmouth, up to Goodrich Castle for tea and (remarkably good) cake, then back over to Gloucester and back home. The vague nature of the actual number referred to above means we may not have covered the same mileage, exactly.

Tomorrow, there is the Wotton Blues Festival, and we'll both be there. But before that I do need to wash and polish Morrigan, because she'll be out again on Sunday for the Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride to raise funds for research into Prostate cancer and to raise awareness of Male Suicide and Mental Health.
