Morning visit

Found myself back in Salisbury for an early morning shopping visit today.
You could tell that autumn is here, whichever calendar you use to gauge the first day of autumn, because there were fewer people about, no tourists early morning, and only one shop, and four cafes open in the shopping mall at the time I was there.
Some will insist that autumn officially starts on September 1; others point to an astronomical calendar and insist that the third season of the year doesn’t start until September 22.
Either way, autumn is here, although it was still shirt sleeve weather, even at 8 am, and became decidedly warmer during the day as the sun rose.
I usually like to take in the Saturday market as well, and for that, early morning is always a favourable time, because the market is only just open, and you get the best choice of everything at the fresh meat, fish and produce stalls.

Today though it was food hall shopping and an espresso at the coffee shop next door in lieu of breakfast.  Still managed to pick up one or two bargains though!
