Naked ladies

Not really!
These are often called Autumn crocus, but not related to true crocuses.
Proper name..Colchium Autumnale.
They suddenly appear at this time of year.
I found these hiding among the nasturtiums.
No leaves. These come after the bulbs have finished flowering .
Unfortunately they seem to just flop all over once the flowers open, and at this time of year don't get enough sun in our garden.
The slugs and snails love them.

Early blip today as we are going over to friends for lunch. Also looking forward to seeing their holiday photos of France.
