Looking Grim

This is Adolph Diesterweg and before tonight I'd never heard of him.  He was a  German educator who believed in the secularisation of schools and educating the poor.  I suspect that I would be way too frivolous a chap for him to talk to.

And so we've reached Friday and now we have a long weekend.  We've got our Feiertag back and Monday is a holiday (last year it was on the Sunday and that meant we didn't get a day off).

I'm looking forward to waking up on Monday morning and doing nothing instead of scrambling to get ready.  I have the feeling that I could go to sleep tonight and not wake up until late Monday.  Don't think the cats would let that happen.though.
