National Library of Scotland - and its neighbour

Edinburgh has the highest number of libraries per capita in the world (60 for every 100,000 people). My blip captures two of them. Here is the National Library of Scotland partially darkened by the shadow of its neighbour across the road (the public library).

I'm still struggling to catch up on work that was disrupted by Wednesday's fire. I worked at home this morning, then walked into work for a PhD supervision this afternoon.

After work Mr hazelh, Jon and I had a curry in Morningside, then popped along to a 60th birthday party at which 'Elvis' performed.

Exercise today: walking (12,344 steps).
