Light Painting

This is the product of this evening's Light Painting excursion to a remote area in Frederick County, with a few members of the camera club.  We were equipped with all sorts of lights and very little experience, so experimentation was the order of the evening.   It was quite tricky lighting up the various parts, setting the correct shutter speed and avoiding getting too much or too little light in certain places.  Ultimately I used layers during processing to get the parts lit up the way I liked.  The subject was Daisy May, this dilapidated old pickup truck that has been placed by the side of the road surrounded by lovely wildflowers, still proudly waving her American flag.   All in all, it was quite fun.
