Blencathra from Thirlmere.

We decided that as it was a great day weather wise we decided to take the new (to us) car for a bit of a drive.  IT was also an excuse to drop into Ambleside to check if we could get some more materials for our up coming projects at the Lodge.  No luck on that score but the coffee was good!

As we had made the outward journey by Ullswater and Kirkstone pass we headed over Dunmail and round the "back side" of Thirlmere.  We had had a number of blipertunities during the day but couldn't resist a walk down to the lake and a few more shots.

I rather liked this shot of one of my favourite mountains from an angle I don't think I have used before.
