Singing from on high...

From the weather vane of St Mary's Church in Wooler, to be precise. As viewed from one of two short walks with MrM and Louie today - this one took us on the track behind the Youth Hostel, with good views over parts of Wooler, including the church. The other was down by the river near the garden centre, so I was able to nip in for a couple of bags of compost.

A 'pottering' sort of day until the evening, though I managed to acquire a very nice pair of shoes to wear to work (OK, they're blue suede boots really) from the outdoor shop opposite the flat.

In the evening, MrM went down to Alnwick to play at a ceilidh, and I put a coat of paint - undercoat - on the bathroom door and surround.
